Tactile Flag Summer Fun Project Kids! Use your talents, skills, and imagination to make your own tactile flag, and join in the "Tactile Flag Summer Fun Project." What is a tactile flag? A tactile flag is a flag that is made from things that help people who are blind to "see" it by touch. How do you make a tactile flag? First, you have to have the right items to begin.
Your tactile flag should not be bigger than 8 x 10 inches. Now that you have everything you need, use your Braille American Flag as a model. Let your imagination go and begin cutting and taping or pasting together your tactile flag. After you have finished if you would like to have your tactile flag reproduced just like the original KBTI Tactile American Flag mail it along with a minimum $3.00 donation to KBTI. Donations should be sent as a check or money order, payable to KBTI. Or you may donate by clicking the donation link below.
