The Coldwater location was originally established in the Measurement Incorporated building, formerly the Coldwater Grade School. However, in the wake of the 2007 Greensburg tornado, KBTI has made this facility available to an attorney whose office was destroyed. KBTI continues to offer Braille training opportunities to Coldwater residents from within their homes, while KBTI seeks out a new location for both training and production.

It is anticipated that KBTI graduates will have an opportunity for learning how to convert educational assessments in many subject areas from print to Braille, including producing both computer-generated and hand-made tactile graphics. Measurement Incorporated's owner, a native of Coldwater, has communicated a willingness to discuss the possibility of contracting with qualified KBTI graduates.
